The challenge for Mallows Beauty was to evolve an already bold, personality-led brand into something more cohesive and scalable without losing what made it stand out. The existing direction leaned heavily on playful visuals and expressive messaging, but lacked the structure needed to stay consistent across a growing product range.

The tension was in refining without restricting — bringing clarity, balance, and recognisability to the brand while keeping its fun, unapologetic tone intact. Every decision needed to support a system that could grow, without diluting the energy that defined it.

Confident
Playfulness

The creative direction explored confident playfulness within an already established brand, building on its bold personality while introducing more structure and cohesion. The aim was to push the expression without losing clarity or recognisability.

Inspired by pop culture and playful illustration, the concept used bright, citrus-led colours for energy, balanced with darker elements for contrast.
